In Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Macbeth is not evil.

Macbeth does not want to start with all of the madness of killing spree; it was Lady Macbeth that wanted to start off with the killing of King Duncan. Macbeth did say "Who should go against his murderer shut the door, / Not bear the knife myself" (I vii 15-16). Macbeth is saying that he will not be the one to kill the king. After that Macbeth said "Vaulting amb
