Lisel Mueller wrote the poem " Hope." Mueller uses common things in order to explain to the reader how hope affects our everyday lives. In stanza two hope sprouts. In this stanza the poet uses references to eyes that cannot actually see. Hope cannot be seen except in the eyes of those who have hope.
