you can lose very quickly. When you lose your integrity you also lose the respect that goes along with it. To me having integrity means a great deal. As a kid you either learn it or you don't. I feel integrity is respecting those who deserve to be respected, and not just respecting them in your heart, but by showing them that you truly respect them. It is about doing all of a group project and never telling anyone, because I know I worked my ass off and I know that I completed myself. By having a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while everyone there thought I was a mess up because I hung out with my life long friends who choose to make wrong decisions. I could of easily followed there footsteps due to the fact that they are my best friends and also due to the fact that I get no respect from parents and classmates. I felt I had to do what I felt right, I felt incorrigible because I had pride and integrity. When someone who doesn't know me well hears make a point or that I have a 4.0 GPA they act so shocked and surprised. This has gotten to me a little bit over the years and often I wish I could just tell people who are superficial and inconsiderate to just blow it out there ass.
