A detailed Summary of Angus Elliot

The analysis of Angus is said to be: brilliant, visionary, and idealistic. I will have to disagree with the brilliant characteristic. Well he had the brains and was looked up to but that's different. Sure he can transform planets but he wasn't careful about his work. Almost all of the planets that he had transformed had to be closed and evacuated. He also had transformed planets that had intelligence so he cannot be brilliant and intelligent because that is uncalled for. I would agree that Angus Elliot is visionary. I believe this because in the book he always had the nature to fantasize things or the dreams of Aqua. He had a dream to make planets and transform them to his sort of vision or liking. Angus definitely had idealism. Idealism is the envisioning of things as they should or are wished to be rather than what they really are. Examples of this behavior was when he lied about the conquering of planets. He told Walt that the planets were doing exceedingly well (but they really had to be evacuated and shutdown). Another example was when the destruction of Aqua was beginning and the people refused to work.

The analysis of Greenie is said to be: brilliant, visionary, and idealistic. Well I believe that this is very correct. Greenie maybe large, green, frog-type looking and very slimy but he is surely sharp-witted. He is considered intelligent because he has a mind, and can interact with humans. His race communicates by telepathy so therefore he must be extremely sophisticated and full of knowledge. Greenie is of course visionary because it is the basic way that his race communicates with each other. You see telepathy is the sharing of thoughts from one mine to another and so forth. So in order to understand thought a picture is created in their mines. So this indicates he is visionary. Now last but not least idealistic. As you can observe Greenie is very idealistic. He formulates or attempts to live in accordance with ideas and ideals. This fits perfectly because thoughts and ideas get transferred by telepathy into their minds. So Greenie lives with knowledge in his mind about the tidal wave that starts a whole new life. The knowledge of the Golden mist and tidal wave get passed on and on and it stays with the Aquarians.
