When I left for United States in summer of 2000, I was so happy and excited that I forgot to buy some items that are necessary to my travel and to bring a camera, Walkman, and so forth. It was a great feeling to me when the airplane got across the Pacific Ocean and mountains around from Korea and Japan to United States and took me new world that I had dreamed of: new people, culture, and life.

Even though I am not sure whether it was the culture shock we called or not, everything I met and saw was enough to give deep impression and a big surprised to me. I think new life is worth adventuring to be succeed, but it's almost impossible to live without parents, friends, and culture from him or her in another world. I'm still learning English, life, culture every day bit by bit. I hope I will be getting better with wishes that someday I'll be succeeded.
