" Hey, what nationality are you?" a person may say. Does the nationality of a person say who or what type of person he/she may be? Does the difference in a group of peoples nationalities mean they have to sit apart? A person's nationality is just their cultural heritage, their background; it is not a means of categorizing people. In the essay "Race In America," George Henderson states that, "Ethnicity is the most distinguishing characteristic of Americans, where we are sorted primarily on the basis of our cultural identities or nationality."
