Romewo and Juliet

Webster's dictionary defines responsibility as the quality or state of being responsible. This means somebody was responsible for the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet. This play involved so many characters that are involved in the affliction. There are other characters that made small contributions as did Mercutio, Balthasar, and the Apothecary. However due to the outcome of the play, Friar Lawrence, Tybalt and the young lovers Romeo & Juliet are held most responsible for the deaths. They bring it upon themselves.

This shows foreshadowing and dramatic irony because it gives a hint that something bad will happen in the future, and something does happen, the tragic deaths. Friar Lawrence tries to explain to the Prince why th
