The Skeleton Coast of Africa is located along the Atlantic coast of the Nambia Desert. The Skeleton Coast was named for the dozens of shipwrecks that litter the shore. This twenty-five mile strip of land has been protecting wildlife since 1971. There is

n assortment of animals along the Skeleton Coast ranging from the lizard to the wild elephant.

To find wild elephants in a desert is most unusual, and the only other place than Nambia where you can find elephants in the desert is in the Sahara Desert. These elephants have been in the Nambia Desert since as early as 1793 when Western explorers re
