Personel Essay
A detailed Summary of Personel Essay
Writing this essay has been imaginably hard, for in order to present a glimpse of the real me, many aspects of my character must be illustrated! If someone were to spend time with me, he would discover a charismatic, well-rounded young man. Many would say that my qualities do not make me the conventional senior in high school. My goals have been established and time has come for me to set out for other environments and become self-reliant in a competitive world. A career has been premeditated and only I can control my destiny.
I come from an ethinically diverse family. My father is Venezuelan and did not speak English well until he moved to the states at the age of twenty-three. My mother is a native Floridian. I grew up going to school in an African American neighborhood by choice because my parents wanted me to be exposed to varied cultures.

I have pushed myself to limits that I thought were humanly impossible for the betterment of my teammates. I have learned early on to never, ever give up, no matter how hard circumstances became, no matter how tired I was, and no matter how tough the competition. When trying to accomplish any task, the task should be taken as if it were a battle, always wanting to succeed. Trying is about doing my best and being grateful for what has been given to me. Celebrating together like a family is what makes victory so rewarding. Most importantly, to have the ability to laugh and understand that it is not if you win or lose, but how the game was played.
For like baseball, no matter how tough obstacles become, no matter how tired my body gets, and no matter how tough the competition, giving up will never become of me. I know that my destiny is in my own hands and that Grinnell is the family I want to grow with and help me throughout my endeavors.
Besides my family and baseball, my other love is medicine.
