As I was deciding on a religious foreign to me, I had a talk with one of my friends who is a Catholic, I quickly soon became intrigued with the basis on which Catholicism was formed and on how they conduct their worship to God. I realized how two Christian religions could be so different in belief, and doctrine. So with my curiosity at its peak I decided to ask my friend if he could bring me with him to their worship service. He soon told me that it was called Sunday mass but mass is celebrated during the week depending on the church. But most Catholics attend mass Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings. As Sunday morning arrived I was a bit nervous to attend a Catholic mass, because of the unfamiliarity with gestures and posturing during the service. My friend reassured me that the people in the parish would be very welcoming and not treat me as an outsider.
