For my first question what did the gods do. There are a lot different things the gods did li There are gods of fertilty ,of the nile river ,of the sun ,of the dead ,gods of different parts of Egypt , of gods.The most importan gods are Ra Amen ra and amen .Ra was the god of all creation , the under world and the sun .He was worshipped as the god of creation in the old kingdom ,after time past people started to worship amen as the god of all creation .amen was a local god in thebes ,when thebes got popular he got popular and was said to be the god all creation. People said he was self created but actullay not he was created by the god thoth as one of the 8 priomidal gods.

Amen ra is the god the linked the worship of the old kingdom god ra to the new kingdom god amen .It was said that Ra later on manefested into Amen.Other importan gods are thoth set anubis bast horus duamutef hapi imstey qebehsenuef isis khons mut geb nephthys nut osiris ptah shu sobek tefnut sekmet selket set .thoth is the god of wisdoms and was created the eight children of thoth including the god amen worshipped as the god of the unerversi in thebes. Set is the god of destuction and was known for killing his brother osiris.anubisis the god of the dead and was son of nephthys and osiris. Bast is the goodess of music and entertainmentan.horus was one of the most importan gods because he was the prototype of a pharoah..he was aprototype of a pharaoh because of his acomplish ment in destroying his evil uncle set for killing his father
