Tobbaco is Wacko

As the cancer slowly ate away the smoker's lungs, three teenagers picked up their first pack of cigarettes. Only one product kills 1/3 of its users... Tobacco. As you finish reading this paragraph an estimated 21 people will have died because of tobacco. Tobacco is addictive and extremely harmful not only to the consumer but to the people around them as well. It took 62 deaths to recall Firestone tires, shouldn't 120,000 deaths a day be a good enough reason to make tobacco illegal?

Cigarettes contain 4000 toxins and 101 different poisons including arsenic, cyanide (rat poison), carbon monoxide (a poisons gas), ammonia (household cleaner), lead, benzene (Rubber cement), tar, cadmium (used in batteries), hydrogen cyanide (Gas used for executions in gas chamber), and polonium (radioactive poison that is equal to 100 chest x-rays). According to information gathered from www.thetruth.com 's "Info-vault" the user thinks smoking is relaxing, although smoking releases the hormone epinephrine, which creates stress. Nicotine (Chemical compound C16H14N2) is an addictive central nervous system stimulant. When nicotine is taken into the lungs through the alveoli, it is absorbed into the bloodstream and sent to the brain in seconds. It causes the heart to beat rapidly, drawing in and pushing out more blood. It also makes the veins and arteries tighten, requiring the heart to work hard. This results in increased blood pressure and heart rate. Even though tobacco is a stimulant, addicted users think that smoking relaxes them, but it is really the result of the user having supplied their craving for nicotine. Smokers are constantly experiencing symptoms of the absence of nicotine "nicotine withdrawal", smoking relieves these symptoms by supplying their craving for nicotine. Almost all tobacco users, including those who use smokeless tobacco, become physically and psychologically dependent on nicotine. When smokers try to quit, they experience problems such as changes in heart rate, blood pressure, appetite, temperature, and digestion. "Nicotine withdrawal" can also be accompanied by anxiety, insomnia, nausea, irritability, and fatigue. That's why the tobacco industries tries to hook kids, so that once they start they almost can't stop.
