When the bill of rights was signed, it stated that all men were given five freedoms, one of those, being the freedom of religion. However, today this right is very openly not used by most Americans. Many people say that America provides more religious freedom than any other country, however the religious freedom that we have is not enough to save our society. Like the characters in A Brave New World, American citizens have little by little lost their religious values, and in many ways, America is working towards becoming an atheistic society, such as the one displayed in A Brave New World.

Throughout A Brave New World, the government controls every action

of every citizen, practically down to the shoes they wear on their feet. The characters in the novel are not allowed to think for themselves, or even think of praising anything else besides the government. Therefore, they gained a socially stable community, however they surrendered all forms of happiness. Within the past forty years, America has become a close replica to this novel. Many times, our country has failed to demonstrate a morally correct society; in contrast, it has done the exact opposite.

In conclusion, A Brave New World is still very relevant today. It is a warning to all of America and to our society. It shows us what we are becoming and what we will become in the end if we don't change our ways. Aldous Huxley wrote this many years ago and he was predicting what we are today (almost). Give us another 50 years and America will become what Aldous Huxley described. We must take this novel as a warning of what we are to become if we don't change our ways and bring back the days when the world was a stable place.

So many people that live in our society do not have any kind of beliefs. Our government and media have further pushed away any hope of helping people find what it is they need in life and trying to help them acquire them. But instead the government is corrupt and people don't care about anything but themselves. If our country is so corrupted now, imagine how it will be in thirty years. If nothing is done to help educate citizens in some ethics, our country will be faced with more brutality, promiscuity, and less opportunity to be become what we should become. The American dream of freedom for all, as well as happiness for all could be permanently turned into a society where all freedoms have to be taken away to gain back stability. We will become the world that of A Brave New World if we do not begin to represent and tea
