Let me explain to you what a dream is in a more down-to-earth way. Our brains are in constant motion or activity if you will. Different states of consciousness such as: awake, asleep, alert, drowsy, excited, bored, concentrated or daydreaming causes different effects in our brain activity. Therefore a dream is a window in the sub-conscious of your deepest fears or your most desirable thrills.
