Where are the boundaries of madness when does someone

go from sane to insane? One of the greatest conflicts a person can have is an inner conflict

with themselves. The Shakespearean play Hamlet gives a look into the troubled mind of a

young man. Hamlet is thrown into the cruel reality of his father's death. A cold blooded

pre-meditated murdered that burrows itself under Hamlets skin that will grow to be infectious.

Hamlet's father returns from the after life to tell him the truth about his death Hamlet is

intoxicated by his own thoughts. He gave Hamlet a new purpose for living to avenge his death

and restore honor to the family. From the beginning Hamlet second guess himself and is

tortured by his own self-conscience. He becomes ashamed of his weaknesses, "How

strange or odd I bear myself as I perchance hereafter shall think meet To put an antic

disposition on ." He is disgusted with the fact that his mother has abandoned her husbands

memory so quickly and has gone to bed with his uncle. Claudius jeprodises everything,

Hamlet's faith cause his hesitation he feels threatened by the consequences that he could

by this point it becomes clear how much of a threat Hamlet posses to be. " Madness in great
