John Masefield's poem Sea Fever is taking about the speaker want to go back to the seas again. The theme in Sea Fever is longing for freedom and an adventurous ocean is developed. There use of rhythm, imagery, metaphor and personification. John Masfield use all those things to make reader close to the sea and more understand why the speak must return to the sea.

Sea Fever has three stanza and rhythm, which give it like a song. For example, line three and line ten contain the repeated consonant sound of the letter "w" and it is go like (). Each stanza star from the same stance "I must go down to the seas again". John use this for shows the theme more clearly
