William Shakespeare's sonnet, 130, is a fourteen line poem in which Shakespeare compares nature to his mistress. Throughout the poem the speaker compares his lover to a number of other beauties and never in the lovers favor. Negative comparisons, positively complicated comparisons and the speaker's definition of his love all play a part of the pros and cons in this poem.
