My Childhood

My friend Sarah is not like most "normal" people. Sarah, on a regular basis, may do and say certain ideas or comments that just make one take a step back and shake one's head. I have no idea if it has to do with her childhood or if she was "out to lunch" when the cleanliness, honesty, and helping others traits were being handed out to every other person in the world.

Sarah's living environment is very different from most everyone else's. Her laundry is draped over and hanging from any and every object not already hanging from the walls. Judging from the amount of "crusties" hanging off the plates and the smell, the dishes in the sink are about seven to ten days old; for Sarah, that is about average. Sleeping on the bed is out of the question, you have to be able to find the bed to sleep on it. Any other person's home has their laundry in baskets or at least in a pile in one part of the house. Most people do the dishes that night or the next morning so they don't get "crusties" or smell. And yes every person I know sleeps on a bed and they can find it pretty easi

Getting truthful information from Sarah could be as rare as seeing a blue horse's jumping over the moon. Sarah has no capacity for telling the truth, she has twisted her words so many different times I do not think she even knows what the truth is any more. Once I asked her where she had been after work and she actually started to answer me three times with three completely different locations. At work Sarah lies more than a dog can bark in a day, she figures that she will never see these people again so why take the time to tell them correct information. On the other hand my friends and I do not see why we should waste the energy to lie to someone when it is just as easy to tell them the truth or that you don't know. For most people when they lie a little voice in their ear says, "That was a lie, you should tell the truth." Any time that I have asked my friend Jason where he went after work I got one answer right away. For the most part while people are at work they want to help people and inform them of the facts, whether or not they will ever see them again.
