The main reason why I do not believe that free will exists is that all of our decisions and actions are cavalierly determined. This belief is not just one of my own, it has been discussed and argued by erudite scholars worldwide. Believing that all of our actions are casually determined is the primary idea behind determinism, which is a vague definition, therefore we must be more specific. Determinism can be defined by two sentences: "All events have a cause, and similar cause, result a similar effect."
