It was coming up to ten minutes to five she knew her husband would be home any minute now. When ahe heared her husband walk up the path leading to the door she would go and make him a drink of whisky with ice as he open the closet door to hung his jacket up she would say "hullo darling" he replied "hullo". she gave him the larger whisky she had made him he drunck it extremly fast compare to normal he then got up made himself another large glass of whisky he also drunk it very quicklyshe then immediatly realized there was someone or something on his mind. Time had past he eventually he broke the devestating news to her that was leaving her because he felt he was protected so much it to the point he had to break free and that he had found someone else. I did not expect and think that Mary Maloney was that kind of person because at the beginnig the story she seemed to be a very kind and caring person who loved her husband more than anything.

Few minutes later she phoned the number of police station and the mam who answered she started to cry tell them to come quick Patrick is dead the man asked her who is this specking she replied mrs Patirck Maloney the officer said you mean partick Maolney is dead yes quick he's laying on the floor. When the two officers arrived Jack and O'Malley she fell into the of jack she then moved a chair near O'Mally she cried is he dead he said I'm afaid so Mrs Maloney.
