A detailed Summary of The Miracle Worker
This story is about a deaf, blind, and mute girl. Her name is Helen Keller. Helen who has been unable to speak, hear or see since childhood, is increasingly difficult to educate until her parents find Annie Sullivan. Although she is new to teaching, it is through Annie's strong will and unshakable faith that Helen discovers how to survive... and thrive in the world through the eyes and ears others.
As the story opens we see that Helen is quite a handful to take care of. Her parents are at their ropes end bout what to do with her. After discussing it for awhile, they decide that it would be best if they called in a teacher to live with them, and help Helen.
