Fredrick Douglass(born Frederick Augustus Washington Baily) was born as a young slave in Tuckhoe in Febraury 1818 to his mother Harriet Bailey. Fredrick was taken from his mother as a young child and sent to Lloyd Plantation with his master Aaron Anthony in 1824.
