I went to the movie theater expecting to see a very funny movie. One reason why I expected this movie to be funny was that it was co-stared and co-written by the Wayans brothers (Shawn and Marlon), considered the best comedians in Hollywood. Sadly, my expectations were not met and I was very disappointed with the movie

Not to be entirely brutal and to give it some credit there were very few scenes that were hilarious. There were some scenes that will make you laugh out loud but for the majority of the film, most jokes will only bring slight smiles and giggles. But after the movie, I wanted to refund my money and the one-hour and thirty-minutes of my life that I lost in watching the movie. Scary Movie is the stupidest comedy film I have ever seen.

One thing I found stupid about the movie was its plot

Another thing that I found stupid about the film is the type of humor it dishes out. The film used slapstick and gross-out humor to try to make their audience laugh. They used bodily fluids, sexual organs and homosexuality to gross their audience out and then uses it to try to make them laugh at it. For example, a guy got killed in the cubicle of a washroom by a huge penis penetrating both of his ears. A grandmother fell down the stairs head first and got run over by a piano. What so funny about a guy getting killed by a penis? It's not even possible! Or what is funny about an old lady falling in a flight of stairs head first? These and other jokes in the film I really find stupid and not amusing.

As for the scenes in the movie, it doesn't have one that its own. All scenes in the movie were taken from another movie and then spoof
