My Room
Some people have yoga, food, alcohol, some even travel. Lots of people have many thingsto calm them, to help them reconnect with themselves. I am simple, all I need is my room. I feel the safest in my room than any other place in this entire world. The weather outside could be lightning and ear-piercing thunder, or it could be an uncomfortable 100 degrees, either way, I feel content in my small room. I have had lived in this room for a little over twelve years. I was the first of four children to pick out a room so I got the one with a bathroom and a sizeable walk-in closet. This room has seen many changes throughout the years. Not only with me, but with itself. It has gone from teddy bears, to rock posters, to the now nearly bare walls. Its been abused and not always appreciated. Times of abuse and under-appreciation are long gone. I cherish this I sit here now, in front of a large screen of a very slow, and uncooperative, computer. It sits on a desk I bought for sixty dollars from a discount st
