A detailed Summary of The Lion King


I believe the author has presented significant ideas about the story of The Lion King but I don't agree with her suggestions of what certain colors or characters represent. Lazarus seems to focus on the social and political aspects of this harmless and simple movie. Her accusation of Disney's attempt at a metaphor of society is not accurate. She talks about the hyenas and how ominous and gloomy their habitat is. She refers to it as the "ghetto". My argument is that not every "ghetto" is ominous and gloomy as she says it is. Personally I have not lived in the "ghetto" but I am friends with peop
