Hunger For the Lord
Throughout my life I have been blessed with the opportunity to experience many things. I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet many unique and loving people who have influenced me to become a better Christian. As a young child Church and the gospel of the Lord was not a big part of my life. I have always believed in God and spoke to him through prayer from time to time. It was not a regular thing for my family and I to attend Church. My parents felt that when we got older we could make the decision on our own of whether or not we wanted to make the Lord a part of our lives. I do not look down on my parents for this, but I do wish that they would have introduced us to the Church and influenced us to make the Lord a part of our lives. From time to time I attended Church services with my friends, but I never felt that I was really absorbing much of the material because I kind of felt like an outsider. Many of my friends had so much more knowledge than I did about the Lord, and because of this I kind of felt like I did not "fit in" with them. I was blind to the fact that they were inviting me to worship the Lord with them. As I got older and attended Church services with my friends I began to understand the gospel o
I feel proud to live in such a country as the United States. I am also very proud to live in Texas. I feel blessed to live in such a place because I am free to worship as I please. I feel bad for other people who are forced into a certain religion and are forced to worship what they do not believe. I wish that I could help these people and spread the word of the Lord among them. I feel to blessed to live in such a free country where it is not bad to be a part of a different religion, and others do not look down on you when they find out what religion you are. Being a Texan has also brought so much joy into my life. Texas is filled with some of the nicest people in the world, and I am proud to be a part of such a great state. In conclusion, I would like to say that the Lord has blessed me with some amazing people throughout my life. I have been blessed with a great family, great friends, a wonderful community, an amazing Church, and the opportunity to learn more about other religions. I have truly been blessed and given a wonderful opportunity to change my life forever. Throughout my life there have been some people who have touched me, and encouraged me to become a better Christian. I will always hold these people dear to my heart and I will never forget the way they made me want to become a better Christian. One of the girls is my girlfriend, and the other people are her family. One day I will be married to this girl, and I feel blessed that I will be a part of such a wonderful Christian family. My girlfriend, Katrina, has changed my life in more ways imaginable. I met Kat last year, and knew the day I met her that she was something special. We began hanging out quite often, studying, eating, and working out. We immediately clicked and became the best of friends. We shared so much with one another, and built an everlasting friendship between us. This summer became the greatest summer of my life because Kat only lived about five minutes away from my house in a little town called Marion. We were able to hang out every day and have the most wonderful time with one another. Kat is a wonderful Christian and because of this, she has opened my eyes and encouraged me to become a better Christian. I have fallen in love with Kat and hope to spend the rest of my life with her. She brings so much joy into my life and I could not thank her enough for the love that she gives me. Through my relationship with Kat, I have also built an amazing relationship with her family. Her mother, father, and brother are amazing people and have shown me so much love and care. I have begun to attend Church with Kat and her family. I feel so comfortable at their Churc
