Of Mice and Men
In John Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men, contains an insight look of life in the Great Depression. Characters possess different discomforts and aspirations that made them so unique from each other. Themes were expressed by figurative language and conversations between the characters. John Steinbeck created a novel with numerous ambiguous themes that only of his own caliber could create. It describes how we base or set our foundation of our lives with dreams and inspirations of the future, in order, to survive and make life more exciting and thrilling. It gives us strength to keep struggling through hard work. Reality is not always envisioned very pleasantly, there is a tendency to relieve and forget about life by thinking of a better tomorrow. Dreams kept them going through hard times, George and Lennie. Their dream is mentioned in page 16 of Of Mice and Men. Pain and suffering was very usual. Motivation (like dreams of a better tomorrow) There is always a situation of suffering, in love or romance. Nobody can control people, than just ourselves. In page 44 of John Steinbeck's novel, George explains his person, from it. Good or favorable results are not lessons of life or a way to improve.
