The Korean War held many interesting and important aspects for global politics as well as military ones for the United States. This proved to be the case until at the end of 1950 Chinese forces crossed the Yalu and threw the war into uncertainty and eventually a draw. Weigley does well to discuss the problems with Gen. MacArthur, who put the United Stat
