William Wordsworth

William Wordsworth is dead, I know, but you have to love this guy! He was one of the two that started the English Romantic Movement with their collections of romantic poems. A British fellow who spent most of his life in the Lake District of Northern England, this man was more than just a poet, he was an artist, a muse in himself who gave inspiration to others to be... He was encouraged by Samuel Taylor Coleridge and was enchanted yet again by natural surroundings William composed his very first masterwork, Lyrical Ballads. William spent the winter of 1798-99 with his sister and Coleridge in Germany, where he wrote several poems, including the baffling 'Lucy' poems. He then moved to Dove Cottage, Grasmere. In 1802, he married Mary Hutchinson. Together, they cared for Dorothy for the last twenty years of her life. Almost all of Dorothy's memory had been destroyed. She did remember her brother's poems though, and sometimes she would sit by the fire and recite them.

Well, Mr. William Wordsworth did lead a busy life, and a romantic one at that. Nobody knows who the heck the 'Lucy' lady in hi
