A detailed Summary of The Story of an Hour


The story, "The Story of an Hour" had many twists and turns to it. It was about a young woman, Mrs. Mallard who had been told that her husband had died in a train wreck. This woman was in a state of grief, but also had realized that now she had been free. This story was taken place anytime from (1851-1904) were men were the leading figures of the house. The feeling that I get from this story is that Mrs. Mallard didn't have a happy marriage.
