A Firefighter's Reflection: "I will never be the same"

I think Kevin's experience is an extraordinary life changer. Imagine being outside and inside the actual trade centers while they are burning. Outside people are falling to their death, and inside the building it is burning uncontrollably. It was a cruel attack of murder on innocent civilians. The number of victims is unbelievable, and also the courage firefighters had to enter the burning buildings to save people. Some fire fighters never went home that day. It's haunting to go back to the fire department and know that you were the last on to see the lieutenant. I believe that any fire fighter who entered the burning trade centers to save the lives of other people in their own are the most courageous people on this planet. They went into that building knowing that they may not leave it alive.
