A detailed Summary of Bhagavad Gita


The Bhagavad Gita shows the central idea of Hinduism, which is reincarnation. I do not know a lot about Hinduism, but am interested in the idea of reincarnation in Eastern philosophy. Chapter two of this book focuses very much on the Self, death, and the afterlife. There are also many similar ideas to Christianity in regards to the soul.

This chapter states that the Self never ceases to exist, which means there is no death of the Self. The Self in Hinduism is equivalent to the soul in Christianity. The chapter talks about the eternity and unchanging of the Self. The soul in Christianity also ne
