Father and Daughter
Oh my gosh!! My dad nearly flunked his first year of college! Wow ~ no wonder, I guess that explains those test papers I dug out of dad's drawer! Mum always says that my dad and I are alike in looks, personalities, habits etcK but that's not very surprising, after all I am his daughter. But I guess maybe that is one of the reasons why dad and I are close. Even though dad and I are similar in some ways. But with 26 years in between our ages there must be something that is different. The world is changing everyday! Every time I turned the channel on news all I hear and see is the nasty rumors of artists and horrible news that reflect our world todayK And I can get so upset every time that I turn off the TV and complain about it to my parents. If he was in Morrison like me, he wouldn't need to study his head off AGAIN to go to Senior high, and would certainly have a better chance to study in a oversea university like Hartford without all those hard toefl tests and stuff. But like dad, I finished my elementary education in Chinese school too! (Even though it's only for four years) I finished the last semester of six grade in Chinese school, not because I want to, it was because my dad really hoped that I can at least have some degree in the Chinese education. Like his parents, Dad wants us to have an even better education and life than themselves. Before the National Health Insurance, most people can't afford to go to the doctors, so poor health was a common sign. But now with a better economic and
