Sexism in America
Over 100 years ago, the women's movement set out to stop discrimination against women in the voting booth and in the workplace. The suffragette movement is a fact of American history we are all well aware of. However, American history also reflects that the Women's Ku Klux Klan (WKKK) was the other main taproot intertwined in the women's movement, a fact that has played a provably major role in the ideology and tactics of the National Organization of Women and its various counterparts in modern politics, psychology, and media.Certainly, what the suffragettes accomplished is legitimate and unquestionable. But the hysterical part of the modern feminist movement (often called "gender feminism" or "radical feminism", is clearly questionable and objectionable. Many of the ideas and slogans that powered the feminist movement of the '60s and '70s were actually written in the late 1800's, within the WKKK Indiana movement. Most of us immediately picture gangs of white men lynching blacks as typifying the manner in which the KKK worked. But this came about, and was justified by the work of the WKKK, who used women's social networks, including the Protestant church, to instill hysterical sexual fears about black men. Every day we are inundated with advertisements and talk-show hype blaming "deadbeat dads" for all the problems of single mothers, despite the fact that most single mothers became that way exercising a funded pre-emptive choice, wherein about 80% of divorces are filed by women, and over half the fathers in America have been driven from their homes and families. When women got the right to vote, they no longer needed the WKKK or KKK as their base of power. They exited the KKK, and after a few decades of relative silence, they re-emerged in the 1960's as the "feminist movement". The only difference between the WKKK and the modern feminist movement is that feminists simply dropped the word "black" from their jargon. The simple principle of "personal responsibility" tells us that a spouse who is irresponsible in a marriage should not be rewarded for it. We need to reform divorce laws to preferentially place custody of children with the parent most responsible to the marriage. We must put fact back into divorce, expecting proof when allegations of domestic violence or child abuse are made, and stop running divorce on fear.
