The World is Made for Consciousness, For each Consciousness

"The world is made for consciousness, for each consciousness. "

This excerpt was found in our textbook on page 153 or on page 12 of Miguel de Unamuno's The Tragic Sense of Life. The grounds that I believe this quote to uphold are that of reason. We are speaking of this claim upon the same grounds.

First of all, this claim upholds the existentialist position on life, in the fact that each individual in consciousness is presented the opportunity to create his/her own destiny. The essence of life and choices is completely self created as stated by Unamuno.

To me a sense of life is an emotional world view that is shaped by us and our surroundings, events that have changed us, our subconscious, and so on. Then through maturation we mix all these emotions together and transform all of our unique and individual sense's of life into one conscious state of mind. There are many different ways the conscious mind can be t

hought of, as I will be examining a few. I believe that there are many people out there who are technically conscious, yet they have no consciousness either they choose not to use there tool in their head, or they've been warped by social conformity.

People have a tendency to hit some proverbial rocky part of there life and become depressed about it some drink, some go to therapy ,but in most cases you will find they start becoming the drones as mentioned above and not work for there destiny; they become routine and lose there conscious state of mind, maybe it was destined to be. Why let that be your destiny, why not pick oneself up and feel thyself striving for a goal and work for one's truest desires of their heart, that's destiny. I guess humans are inclined to self pity and to their demise giving up, which to me and Unamuno is why we must attain our level of consciousness, for the world is made for consciousness. <
