Things in Life

Have you ever been to someplace in your life that was just so great you can't forget it? There is always a place like that in everyone's life, and for me it was on a cruise. It's not everyday that someone gets to go on a cruise because they are very expensive, but you if you get a chance, it will be something you won't soon forget.

Arriving in Los Angeles, the pungent odor of old sea water and dead fish was not the greatest smell. While in the parking lot gazing in the distance towards the water all that is noticeable is the numerous old run-down looking buildings, but upon closer inspection you can see a reddish-blue fin charred peaking out from the tops of the buildings. As you walk closer and closer you notice the ship getting bigger and bigger until finally you reach the boat. It is massive like a skyscraper and stands over 100ft high and holds more than 2000 passengers. As one looks on the outside you notice it's not all that perfect, with its whitish and blue warped paint from years in the ocean, and rusty drip marks from every bolt along the bottom of the boat. All you can wonder is what it is like inside.

When first walking inside the ship you notice how spacious and vivid it is. Walking down the hallways

While walking around the apparently unsleeping boat, you notice the booming music and shiny lit up disco balls coming from the nearby dance club. In the darkly lit room the shiny teeth and white eyes of men and women are all that's visible as you scope out the dance floor and look for someone to dance with. Then nervously, you slowly walk as your heart sends throbs all the way to your fingertips to invite a beautiful girl to dance with you. After what seems like an eternity she says shyly under her breath "yes." The aroma of her fragrance is engraved in memory while the slow rhythm of the song seems to flow with her body as she holds you close to herself. As you whisper in her ear you notice her luscious lips forming a perfect smile that wraps around her small nose while her eyes slowly close as if she was falling into a dream, and all you feel is her silk like hair against your smiling cheek as she rests her head on your shoulder.

While visiting around the ship there are many vibes you get as you look at different people. The seemingly rich people walk past you as if you're not there in their fancy suits and gleaming diamonds. The ordinary class people walk past with the occasional hello or smile as if they
