Battle of Little Bighorn
The Battle of Little Bighorn was the result of a powerful disagreement betwen the Native Americans and the American settlers who forced them to move westward and be bound on reservation camps. The land was basically stolen from the Native Americans and abused by the white settlers. Though, in this one particular battle, The Native Americans did not surrender as easily as planned. General George Armstrong Custer and the entire Seventh Cavalry (263 men) were slaughtered. Their bodies were mutilated. This event marked a very vivid point in history. It was a day of courage for the Cheyenne, Lakota and Sioux. A day that will always be remembered as Custer's Last Stand. The Native Americans are the first Inhabitants of the United States. They have adapted a peaceful way of life throughout the time they have lived here and have kept it that way. Most Native Americans believe in some type of mystical force in nature .
