Hemingway was a man of integrity, but also a very dedicated writer and so called war hero. He spent a lot of his time being depressed over all his hardships in life that he went through. He once said, "every man would die depressed". When he began writing he was soon noted for his writing abilities and became the next most important writer since Shakespeare.
Hemingway was born in 1899 to an abusive family. His parents wanted a girl or at least his mom did so as Ernest grew up he was raised as a girl. They had dressed him up in girl clothes.
