A detailed Summary of The Quest


Bodies were falling by the dozen. Melee weapons were clinging against each other or cutting right through the flesh. Arrows were flying everywhere, most missing their intended targets, but some piercing right through the heaviest of armors. And no one could ignore the dazzling lights created by all sorts of magic that was being used; it was a sight to behold. My smallish party of adventurers was holding its won against hoards of Orcs, Demons and Undead. But than something happened, they had found the book. I had made up my mind; the book could not fall into the hands of the enemy.

The war between good and evil had been going on for eleven years, but the side of light was winning. As a their last and desperate act, the Evil Hoards and amassed and attacked the sacred Mount Arreat. Everyone new what they were after, the book of worldstone. Using the book, one could open the portal between our world and hell itself, which would bring


all sorts of unimaginable evils and would easily turn the tide of the war. A group pf eight people was assembled and it would include the best of all classes. Ass soon as the group was assembled, we were told to head for Mount Arreat as fast as we could since were he only rainforests that could be spared, and so we went. Traversing some of the journey through magical portals, we reached the Sacred Arreat in less than two days. The sight that we saw would render any regular person insane. Humans and Hellish creatures alike were all over the ground, most of them dead, some still dying. The gates were broken down and the one could here the fighting going on deep inside the city. We could only hope that were not too late and rushed into the battle.
