Native American Values and Philosophy
The values and philosophies of the world, Native Americans, and I differ in many ways. Some areas in question are our personal differences, quietness, patience, mutualism or equality, and spirituality. Some, however, are very similar, in literature for instance, the power of our words, as well as the value of life, and the preservation of nature. In the world today our personal differences are sometimes interpreted differently than many people want them to be. Our personal differences are what make each of us special, but people who see individuality as bad, make conclusions that separate us. This is the composition that makes all of us up. Our world is filled with many things that distract us and want us to buy something, do something, or help promote something. This, shall we say, “advertisement” is what makes the world a very loud and busy place. With all of the commotion going on patience is very short and not seen as often. This could lead to violence and disruptions in the everyday lives of the people who inhabit our world, which brings me to mutualism and/or equality.
