France, being my pet nation, is located in Europe. The location of France is in Western Europe, bordering the Bay of Biscay and the English Channel, between Belgium and Spain, southeast to the United Kingdom, bordering the Mediterranean Sea, between Italy and Spain. The geographical terrain mostly consists of flat plains or gently rolling hills in the north and west; but to the south are the Pyrenees and the Alps in the east. France has trade relations with almost all of there neighboring countries. They import 62% of their goods from Europe, the nations being: Germany, Italy, Belgium-Luxembourg, United Kingdom, and Spain. Also they trade with the United States. France has some territorial disputes between Suriname and the French Guiana, also a claim of territorial land called the Adelie Land, in Antarctica. The only real international disputes are with Nigeria, Algeria and the Colonies, which I will go more into detail with in Paper two. France does have more territorial disputes, but they are little and not worth talking about. French Relations with Britain have worsened during the year since France refused to import British beef, this resulted in legal action against France by the European Union.
