ife. My mom had to drop out of college to take care of us but my father remained in school to try to get a better life for his family. But we had hard times since my father had a low waging job my mother had no choice to sign up for food stamps that's not the most pleasant feeling when we you to go to the store we always thought my mom was using monopoly money to play for the groceries. I always felt my mother was ashamed to go to the store with those stamps. Even though we may had a rough time financially but are minds stayed rich with the knowledge my mother and father was teaching us doing these times of struggle they always emphasized school was a key to success.
