Use of Lighting in a Film: Fight Club
As the torrential rain beats against the glass of the windshield , inside the
car Jack (Edward Norton) and his alter ego Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), are having a
fierce argument. The two founders of "Fight Club" are driving down a highway
conversing about their future plans for their organization which is quickly
becoming popular. With them are two young men who have recently became
members of the "fight club". Fight Club has progressively been gaining more and
more members and, thus have been changing its ideals . From what was just a
sparring club to release anger, Fight Club has turned into a cult like group that
plans on causing chaos and havok throughout the city. Tyler and jack plan on
changing the mundane lifestyle of the average man, from just a unhappy robot like

over the radical thoughts of how Tyler believes they should run the organization
throughout the entire scene is low key with a lack of lighting, just sometimes adding
men's faces in the car. The lightening along with the constant verbal fighting gives a
halogen headlights and bright red brake lights saturate the petrified men's faces inside
