The day was gloomy a quite frankly Joshua really didn't want to get out of bed that lazy December morning. But something in the back of his mind told him that this day was different from all the others. So as usual he rolled out from underneath the covers and ran into the bathroom because the chilly air was biting.

"I get the shower first!" yelled Joshua from his bedroom.

He ran in the bathroom and locked the door behind him, and as soon as he did Jacob started beating on the bathroom door almost breaking it off the hinges. Even then he didn't realize the irony that was going to take place that cold winter day.

Soon after cleaning up and eating breakfast josh and his brother were ready to head off to school when they heard their dad say, "Did you boys look outside?"

"No, dad I really didn't look outside because I live in the basement and usually trolls don't have windows in their houses, do they?" replied Jacob with a sarcastic tone of voice.

"Son I'll slap you into next week if you talk like that to me!" Rick jabbed back at the boys, as if to strike terror into them.

The boys knew better than to believe the threats that there dad gave to them so they grabbed their bags and jumped in the car to

"Do you want to skip school today, Jacob?" Joshua asked to a stunned brother.

"We're going to die!" Joshua screamed.

"Jacob?" "Can you hear me?" Joshua was barely heard over the defroster.

The car sank and sank until the water had completely filled the cab of the car. Joshua had one more breath in his lungs and as soon as he exhaled he was lying there safe and warm underneath his covers for it was all a dream school was cancelled that day.

"No, Jacob I'm bleeding!" "Why am I bleeding?" "Jacob why am I bleeding?"

"Yes man" Jacob said. "But I was just thinking about something."
