Compare/Contrast Crow and Weasel and The Oddyssey
In every book there is a protagonist, or good guy, and a antagonist, or bad guy. Also in every book there is a conflict in which the protagonist must conquer. In The Odyssey and The Odyssesy, by Homer, Odysseus embarks on his journey home, in which he must overcome many obstacles. In Crow and Weasel two young men(animals, actually) depart on a journey that will be long and hard, also featuring many difficulties they must defeat. These two books are alike in many ways such as the main characters are polytheistic, and that they both went on a long journey. Even so, two stories with the same plot line can be very different. In both stories the men went on a long journey, but they started it very differently. Also when the characters came back they were welcomed in opposite ways. Odysseus and Crow and Weasel both share the belief of polytheism, and both went on a long voyage. Odysseus, and the rest of the Greeks, believed that there was more than one god watching over them and controlling everything that happened in the world.
