"Because I know he's a fake and he doesn't like anybody around who knows!" (Death of a Salesman page 58) This quote depicts the controversial decision of whether or not Biff Loman should tell Linda Loman the "secret" between Biff and Willy. Biff and Willy both do not get along and the father and son connection differs ever since Biff walked in on his father with another woman. Telling Linda would result in years of lost trust in marriage. Believing Biff under the circumstances he put the family in would become a difficult task for Linda. Lastly, Biff should not tell Linda, for it would only make her more upset and it would practically ruin Linda's image o
