O'Connor's short story on, "A Good Man is Hard to Find" is a good example of foreshadowinging, violence, and realisim.
The main characters in this story is the Grandmother (antagonist), Baily, (Grandmother's Son), Unnamed (Children's mother), John Wesley (Baily's son), June Star (Baily's daughter)and the misfits.
The story revolves around the family vacation to Florida. The grandmother complains about having to go to Florida, she would rather go to East Tennessee. And the grandmother insists that the famly not go in the direction of Florida due to the escaped convicts (forshawdowing) Her son and his wife ignore her pleas, John
