Timon Giveth and His False Friends Taketh Away
In all of the plays by Shakespeare that I have read there are a lot of interesting characters. In reading Timon of Athens I was in introduced to another great character. Timon is this very generous character who likes to help his friends. Timon wants to help his friend Lucilius get married and he bails his friend Ventidius out of jail. Although, Timon does all this and is a generous person his so-called friends do nothing when he is in need. In act one scene one a messenger comes to tell Timon that his friend Ventidius is in jail.
