Using the Internet for Research, info about EIP Security

As the economy becomes increasingly technology oriented, and an increasing number of customers begin to use the Internet for reasons other than searching, security becomes an extremely important issue. Customers demand satisfaction and security while transferring sensitive data, such as credit card numbers, and companies wish to provide this security "blanket" to them. The same problems can exist in the use of enterprise information portals and search engines. These company portals depend on the portal's ability to keep sensitive data within its "walls", while keeping unwanted users out. The ability of hackers and unwanted visitors to crack EIP's security has led to the affordability of security to plummet. The more sensitive information and data being transferred, the more security is needed. This leads to an increase in the money needed to provide this airtight security. Because of this, the MIS portal team has decided to concentrate on the security issues that currently exist in Enterprise Information Portals.

I. While the team has seemed to excel in most areas of supportive communication and creative problem solving, problems have risen and do exist. Conceptual blocks, mental obstacles that restrict the way a prob

The first technique is brainstorming. By generating as many alternatives as possible to our problem topic, our chances of finding a plausible solution will increase dramatically. However, we must develop the ability to continue beyond the pauses that do exist in the presentation of alternatives and solutions. Software teams in the industry rely on teams for creativity, support, and the convergence of different ideas to solve the problem of portal security. The presence of others' ideas allows for piggybacking and adding on to previously brought up ideas. This could dramatically improve our chances of coming up with a great solution to our affordability problem, as we would be incorporating many different ways of thinking from a few people instead of one. As was stated before, technology based solutions often rely on creativity to get the job done and solutions generated. Creativity is fostered through the sharing and brainstorming ideas. Correct brainstorming techniques could be applied to the actual attempts to solve the problem and generate alternatives to previously developed solutions. Applying this creative technique would incorporate different thinking languages as we each have different thinking patterns and character traits, as proven by the Myers-Briggs test. When using this technique effectively, pauses will hopefully be eliminated, and the prevention of the overuse of standard problem solving procedures will occur.

lem is defined and limit the number of alternative solutions that might otherwise be considered, do exist within certain aspects of the group. The two main categories included information collection and attempts to solve the problem. Security issues within the information technology arena are constantly changing and evolving as old issues are being solved by companies and new ones are developing. Because it is an ever-changing industry, the best information on the topic can be found online. However, a major problem is collecting biased information. While the internet is a great research tool, many websites are written by industry "professionals" that work either for a security provider believing that their views or solutions are correct, or unqualified authors who pretend to offer correct solutions to the IT industry; an industry which demands experts in the field of EIP security. Every website needs to be analyzed and the intentions of the author defined. The best information and research found is written by authors who write for tech magazines, but do not focus on security issues as their main professional concentration. They offer insight without bias, which is t
