Hereford's C.B.D is surrounded by main roads. These are all links to the centre of the town for parking and easy access from public transport. My aim was to find out about how the environmental qualities deteriorate away from the centre of the town. This means that we needed to get information about all the streets in the centre of town, and all the streets just outside the centre, to see if there was much difference in quality.

The data was collected in booking sheets and questionnaires, which were then put together as one big result. These were then used to write up our proper results in neat.

The next course of action was to do a pedestrian count. It was practically the same as the traffic count and had the same reason to it but this time it was with pedestrians and not traffic. The idea of this was to find out how many people visited the town at this particular time. This also lasted 5 minutes. We were expecting to see a lot more people go into town rather than coming from town especially at the time the count was recorded.
